About The Feminist Press The Feminist Press at the City University
of New York is a nonprofit literary and educational publisher.
The Press is devoted to restoring the lost multicultural history
and literature of women in the United States and throughout
the world through the publication of important books by women
and the development of educational resources.
The Press publishes fifteen to twenty carefully selected
books each year, focusing on fiction by American women from
the nineteenth andtwentieth centuries, literature by women
from around the world, original memoirs, other nonfiction,
educational resource books, and books especially for younger
readers, as well as the journal, Women's Studies Quarterly.
